NaNoWriMo day one update. (don't worry I do not plan to do this every day...)

So, I started NaNoWriMo last night and managed 2354 words which I’m quite pleased about. However, because I did some before and some after midnight my average word count still has me finishing mid December *g*.
 
And this leads to one of the irritating things about being me. I am not generally competitive, never have been. I put this down to largely being shit at most things I do so I now accept loosing quite graciously. However, I do get very competitive with myself. So, despite going into this say I have my own personal goal of getting Callie’s story up to 50k rather than writing 50k in one month, after just one night my inner competitor is already seeing stars and preparing the protein shakes. I’m going to have a montage and a theme tune next.
 
Dammit.

Lol. I like it when my characters take me by surprise. Though I was writing a really sad section last night and at one point one of my supporting characters said something so sweet which I hadn't expected and I just burst into tears.
