2.4 is my all time fave ep of Primeval because of all the lovely Connor/Abby angst and that scene on the cliffop, and you've captured exactly what it is that I like about their interactions all the way through. That one moment on the dock when Connor finally snaps back at Abby and the look of utter shock on her face because she clearly never expected him to shout at her or argue or fight back in any way.
And the way he knows that he doesn't care about Caroline in the same way that he cares about Abby, but in his mind it's clear that Caroline actually seems to want him, whereas Abby clearly *doesn't* want him, certainly not as anything more than a friend, so it makes a heartbreaking amount of sense why he makes the choices that he does in this ep. And you really got inside his head and showed that.
I should probably stop squeeing before this comment becomes longer than the fic itself...
