Connor was trying to figure out if it was an obsession.

The dictionary claimed that an obsession was the domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent desire.

He tried to be logical, approach it like he would a computer programme.

Yes it was a desire; yes it took up most of waking thoughts; those that weren’t dominated by chasing dinosaurs and trying not to die anyway.

Yes, it occupied his mind while he lay alone in bed.

Yes, he dreamt about it, vividly.

Okay then, he admitted to himself, he was obsessed with wanting to be Hans Solo.

If Abby ever tells him she loves him though, I'd suggest he doesn't follow his big brother's example and replies with 'I know' - it takes a rogue to pull off that one, I do believe. *g*
