tw_gleeclub. The prompt was Tosh and Ianto at the water cooler. Hope this is okay!Tosh sat happily working at her computer. Jack had been back for a couple of weeks and things were returning to normal. He was out now with Gwen and Owen retrieving some tech and she was able to remain behind at the Hub again and tinker to her heart’s content. Ianto was around somewhere, also seemingly happy to catch up with all the little bits that had got neglected when he’d had to go out in the field more often.
The cog door noisily opened and Ianto walked through, dragging a large trolley from the lift. Tosh watched as he pulled the trolley over to one corner and started to unload the contents. Intrigued she wandered over.
“What’s that?” she asked Ianto’s back.
“It’s a water cooler.” he replied without turning round. Tosh watched as he wrestled the large base unit into place by the wall.
“Why do we need a water cooler?”
“For water.” Ianto still hadn’t turned around to face her, apparently concentrating on removing the packaging from around the unit.
“But, what about tap water?”
Ianto snorted. “You know as well as I do that you can’t trust the tap water.”
Tosh had to concede that he had a point, but as Ianto still hadn’t turned to face her, her suspicions were roused.
“We’ve managed well up to now. Why the sudden change? Are you trying to make us feel more professional? Give this place a more officey feel?”
The grin was broad on Tosh’s face as she saw Ianto’s shoulders suddenly stiffen.
So that was it. One of them had a thing. She guessed that ‘one’ was Jack. But at least it meant that they were obviously repairing things between them after Jack’s sudden disappearance.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Ianto replied curtly, still unable to turn around as he fussed with the new equipment.
Tosh bit her lip to keep the giggle in place. If Ianto had turned around he would have seen the unmistakable mischievous glint in her eyes.
“So when does the photocopier arrive?”
“Tomorrow.” Ianto replied automatically. Tosh swallowed another giggle as Ianto’s whole body froze. She didn’t need to see his face to know the “oh fuck” expression it would be wearing.

OMG, at the mention of the photocopier, I snorted out loud. My room mate had to come and read to see what was making me crack up. This was brilliant, and just what I needed after my shitty day. ^_^
