I am doing this meme, with choices from [livejournal.com profile] fififolle. I hadn't been planning to do this meme but her enthusiasm is infectious...

This one was made for us for a fic series that [livejournal.com profile] emyrldlady and I are writing. The premise is that Connor and Ianto were friends from uni and re-met some years later when they were in their new respective careers. Emy and I spent quite some time looking for young pics of them for the icon. That the series is in hiatus is entirely my fault.

Guh. I love this and don’t use it enough. I shamelessly adore Owen. Flaws and all he is my favourite Torchwood character and I just love his relationship with Jack. What they did with his character in the second series was so good, and I think the show’s biggest loss was killing him again and not spending longer exploring the implications to him. This moment of closeness between the man who can never die and the man who can never live was just great.

This comes from Blue Gillespie fandom. Over at [livejournal.com profile] bluegillespie we sometimes play team games and the teams are based on the four band members –Gareth, Nick, Rhys and Clarky - and their awesome manager Justine. We get extra points for using a team icon and I made this for the icon competition at the comm (I somehow won in the team category with this actually) while I was in Team Justine.

That is GDL in one of his early TV roles; the first time he was in the Bill!! I got stuck on the series becuase the next one I have to write is from Connor's POV after a certain ep in Season 3!
