Okay… my turn…

I am loving this Christmas card and gift exchange thing and I would love to take part, but post from the UK is a bitch.

So here’s about the best I can offer.

Ficlets.

Choose a fandom (you’re prob safest with the ones I write more of; Torchwood, Primeval, Doctor Who, but I’m willing to have a go at Being Human, Leverage and Moffat’s Sherlock and Watson), choose characters, choose a prompt, choose a theme, genre, whatever the hell. Feel free also if the mood grabs you to request fic from any of my original characters, Callie, Cara, etc (Jay Hunter if you know her from FF.net).

Be as specific or as vague as you want! I will do my best to do justice to whatever you choose.

I promise the minimum of a drabble, and the max of whatever happens depending on how much my muse daemon is tickled by your prompt. All will be posted by Christmas.

Ooh, this sounds like a wonderful idea....I should do this, to transition back into fanfiction and warm back up, after spending so much time with my original characters...you know, they aren't nearly as considerate of my plot ideas as Jack and Ianto were...or any of the Leverage people. Anywho.

You have no idea how much I love that you put Jay up there. Hrm. Could I get a Jay/Jack/Ianto with the three spending the holiday at Ianto's flat? I know it doesn't fit in to any of your universes with Jay in it....but I love her.

Just wanted to let you know I'm having quite a lot of fun with your story. One of the characters is getting the upper hand in a quite unexpected way! All very clean though and no trace of hurt or angst (a teeny bit of stroppiness, but nothing a cup of coffee can't sort out.)

I'm not great at long plotty things. I like playing with characters but rarely get a good plot to hang my characters off. My longer proper original writings are still mainly hiding. I'll let them out into the world one day.

Fanfic is a lot of fun. It's like playing with words and characters.

The one fanfic I attempted to write was going to be a longer, much more involved tale. Centered around Jack. I wrote a page of it and forced myself to stop because my OCs needed me. *chuckles*

Okaaaay, it has taken most of the afternoon to refine this idea into something clear. Thankfully I had the office to myself today so I had plenty daydreaming opportunities :)

I would like a fic with Jack and Ianto (surprise!), where Ianto teaches Jack a new practical skill. It doesn't have to be a smut-related skill (though that could be fun!) but it has to be something the Jack didn't know about / know how to do before.

This comes from having seen lots of fic where Ianto is learning 'bedroom skills' from Jack, or Jack is learning from Ianto about trust and love and other related fluffiness. I'd like to see Ianto be the knowledgeable one in a non-emotional-type way for a change :) Please.
