So, I am not exactly against slashing, I think that is reasonably obvious. However, oddly, I am able watch things without slash goggles on sometimes. I know, I don’t know how I do it either. Although there are the times, of course, where I have to resort to shouting IT IS CANON I TELL YOU (please see Merlin/Lancelot and Connor/Lester.)

Anyhoo, I digressed a bit. The point I am trying to make is that sometimes I just cannot bring myself to slash a couple of characters but instead I get hopelessly lost in the bromance of it all. So, especially at this sad time when one of my favouritst bromances has been cancelled, it seemed a fitting time for a picspam celebrating some of my fave non-slashy bros and their mances. It doesn’t hurt that a lot of them are pretty...

So below are some of my fave bromances, feel free to share yours!

Okay, these two don’t really count as a proper bromance as at times they can barely stand each other, but when it comes down to it, the love is there. And they are two of my all time fave characters so they get included. My journal my rules.

One of the most enjoyable bromances of recent times: Ryan and Esposito from Castle are just awesome together. I will admit to having a partic love for a bit of bro whumping and the torture scene in ‘Knockdown’ is chock-full of bro-angst and humour. Love it.

So much more than deadly furniture...George and Mitchell.

Danny and Martin from Without a Trace….I haven’t watched this for a while, but they are my enduring memory. Oh the man pain!!

Two of my favourite boys; Criminal Mind’s Morgan and Reid. These two are too cute for words. They have a great working relationship, a deep professional respect for each other, sense of humour and, again, when the angst hits or the whumping starts they are bros there for each other. *happy sigh*

And, finally, my favourite bromance of all time; the recently deceased Sirens.

Stuart, Ashley and Rachid are a lovely little threeway bromance, really quite adorable and watching it grow through the series was an utter joy. There are so there for each other.

But, my love really goes to the most epic of epic bromances of all time, Ashley and Stuart. I just adore them together. One’s gay, one’s an arse, they are both fucked up and they love each other completely. *big happy sigh* However, there are a sadly few number of pics around for this little fandom so go watch the best bromance of all time on 4OD.
