Lester took a moment to just stand still. He tipped his face to the sky and arched his back, stretching stiff muscles and enjoying the sun on his skin.
“Come along, old chap. Your shot.”
At the other man’s voice Lester straightened and adjusted the glove on his left hand before hefting his 1-wood and heading for the tee.
Then his pocket began to ring.
“Lester.” He listened for a moment before turning to his companion. “Sorry, dear fellow, got to dash.”
“That this mysterious new posting of yours Jim?”
Lester sighed. “The call of the wild you might say.”
