“Worst Christmas ever.” Connor grumbled, opening the front door.

“Certainly had better,” Becker agreed following him in.

 “Remind me to accidently break the anomaly detector next Christmas eve,” Connor said, attempting to rid himself of scarf, hat and coat while kicking off his shoes.  

“Next year I may accidently leave my phone in a glass of water,” Becker replied, helping untangle Connor from his now successfully knotted clothes.

“You’re back then?”

Becker and Connor both turned towards the direction of the voice.

“I have turkey, parsnips, pigs in blankets, and roast potatoes in the oven, and veg ready to go on the stove. We have a good 20 minutes to kill before we need to do anything more. Now, does anyone have any suggestions how we can occupy our time?” Lester gave them both an enquiring look.

Becker and Connor were still speechless.  Not so much at the fact that while they had been out closing anomalies and fighting small things with ridiculously sharp teeth, but more the fact that Lester was leaning naked against the bedroom door frame, erections standing proud from his body with a sprig of mistletoe tied around it.

Becker and Connor moved towards him as one.

“Best Christmas ever.”
