Lester’s eyes flickered over the debris of Connor’s life before coming to rest on the young man himself.

“Connor. What have I told you about making a mess in the flat?”

“You told me not to.” Connor smiled.

“And yet, as I look around, I can’t help but notice that the flat is quite distinctly in a mess.”

“Yes it is.” Connor’s smile got bigger.

“Didn’t I say I would punish you if you made a mess in the flat?”

“Yes you did.” The smile got bigger still.

Lester’s eyes narrowed and his voice became low and dangerous. “Bedroom. Now.”
