Lester pulls Connor into his office, barely caring who sees. His arms wrap around Connor’s body, holding him close, feeling his warmth. Leaning back he cups Connor’s face in his hands, keeping close, feeling his breath on his lips.

“I…” he starts, but is cut off.

“I know. And you need to have more faith in me.” Connor’s eyes are serious, exposing an age that defies his years. Then he smiles; a smile that would thaw any frost. “And you’re not getting rid of me that easily.”
