Jack finished his rant with a flourish and a final wave of his whiskey bottle.
The Doctor regarded him with a slightly out of focus expression, his hand wrapped around the remains of yet another banana daiquiri.
“D’ja feel better now? Said everything you want to say?”
Jack paused, narrowing his eyes and trying to concentrate.
“Yes.” he decided with a nod.
“Brilliant. Shall we head back to the Tardis now?” the Doctor suddenly sounded much brighter.
Jack stared at him. Something didn’t seem right and Jack’s brain was scrabbling around trying to figure out what it was.
“You’re not really drunk are you?”
“No.”
“And you’re going to remember all of this tomorrow aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Bastard.”
“Oh yes!”
