primeval100 prompt 'Subterranean'. It was dark. That was good; liked the dark. And it was warm; hard rivers of heat running under their feet. Liked warm too. It was comfortable, convenient and they'd had an enjoyable time tunnelling this far. Not much room to play, but you couldn't have everything.
"Connor! Your bloody pets are under the floorboards again! Get them out or you will find all three of you become extinct rather quicker than you expected!"
Sid and Nancy looked at each other, exchanging the diictodon equivalent of a sigh.
Good as it was, a nice burrow underground was much more peaceful.
