Lester regarded the open book that had been slammed onto the desk in front of him and then up at the slamee.

“No.”

“But James…” Connor protested.

“I said no.”

“But seriously. They’re doing all kinds of damage to the education of children with this stuff.”

“And what exactly is it you would like me to say Connor? ‘Yes Mr. Education Minister; I request that you change all illustrations in textbooks referring to pre-history as they are wildly inaccurate. Fossil record? Oh, no we haven’t looked at that; it’s just that my technical advisor has been there and says so!’”
