Connor skidded into the room, skateboard clattering.

Nick winced.

Then Connor started to talk. About approximately six things at once.

After a record three minutes being still, Connor spun in his chair, sending piles of equipment crashing to the floor.

Nick felt his eye twitch as another three subjects were introduced to the conversation.

But it was the tapping that finally…

“For god’s sake Connor!” Nick exploded, “Will you just sit still for one minute, be quiet and let me think!” He turned and stalked from the room.

Connor watched him leave. “I think someone should put him on decaff.”
