I offered to do a picspam for the current character fest over at primeval_denial but couldn't pick a character to concentrate on, so I decided to do them all, but with a theme. And boys and their weapons was just impossible to resist. Do you have any idea of the HARDSHIP I went through scouring screen caps for images of [pretty boys with big guns? The things I do for you people.




Unlike certain Special Forces Captains, I have no need to compensate.

As unbelievable as it sounds but you are actually the first I meet who ships them. I was DC fan from the beginning but stopped watching afer season 4. I saw the finale first a couple of years after the whole series had already ended. And then I couldn't find active fans anymore - or at least no active fans who shipped Doug/Jack.

So I'm excited to find a kindred soul who loves the boys as well:)

I was in the fandom at the time via message boards and chatrooms. I was very much a Pacey/Joey shipper and lots of the discussion focused on Pacey vs Dawson. When I saw the finale I loved that Jack & Doug were together and the moment in your icon on the beach was lovely. I also adore the idea of them looking after Amy. It doesn't really have a fandom but that's why your icons stood out to me.

Btw... I forgot to ask... do you have any (secret) sources for Doug/Jack fic?

Unfortunately not. I did get an awesome Doug comes out to Pacey fic which is here. I've only written them once myself. There's a few under the Jack/Doug tag on AO3 but that's it, as far as I know.
