Connor’s hand reached out and was immediately slapped away.

“Ouch!”

“It told you not to touch anything.”

“But you hate the breakfast show too.”

 “Fine.” Lester pressed a button and paused. “Connor. How did XFM get programmed into my car stereo?”

Conner shrugged guiltily.

Lester pressed the button again.

“Oh, please not Classic FM. “

Lester sighed. “Fine, but whatever the next one is, it stays.”

“Okay.”

Another press and the throaty rasp of Chris Rea filled the car.

A look of horror crossed Connor’s face.

Lester gave a smug grin, put the car into gear and hit the road.
