So, I have this friend, who shall remain nameless; we met on line and have never met in person and yet I would count her as a great and close friend. The reasons for this are excruciatingly simple. In the time that I have known her she has not once failed to be there for me when I have needed it, has been supportive, can be happy for my little successes even when her life is going to hell in a hand basket and is funny. Really, really goddam funny. Oh, and she gets me.

This post is partly to let her know how much she means to me and what a truly remarkable person I think she is, but I’m also partially singling her out to embarrass her.

Whereas other friends appreciate it when you give them compliments and tell them that you care, she calls me a sap.

So dear friends, here’s what you do. You use the comments below to tell her off for calling me a sap when I try to be nice. :oD

Also, I have been promised abuse via sarcasm next time I try to say something nice to her, but if she responds to this with sarcasm then she will be outing herself and everyone will know what a lovely person she is.

So, um, I win.
