bbcland.They know they get strange looks. They certainly know all about getting unanswerable questions.
They have earned sniggers from their friends and desperate pleas from their families to change their minds.
But they don’t change their minds; they never could. Without him there would be no them, no new him.
Even the man across from them now looks up, the query clear in his eyebrows. Ignoring it they sign the certificate together, unable to keep the smiles of joy from their faces.
And it is with absolute pride that Craig and Sophie introduce baby James Doctor Owens to the world.
