A/N: I actually managed a drabble!
His body ached. His heart ached.
He’d watched Him die again.
“Quick trip to the country,” He’d said, “pick up stolen alien tech. Easy” And that smile that would make him do anything. Follow Him anywhere.
Slumped against the car door he studied Him behind the wheel; alive, revived, good as new. While he remained bruised and broken.
He received a concerned look, then that man with that smile pointed out of the window.
“Look Ianto. It’s the Bay. We’re home.”
Home for now maybe, but he’d follow that smile to hell and back as many times as it asked.
