jooles34 | Ramblings is not descriptive enough...this is just a whinge.

So, I’m off work sick. Eugh. Problem is, even sick, I am capable of getting bored.

And I am bored. After one day. (and what’s annoying is that I know there are so many people far worse off than me and I shouldn’t be whinging AT ALL, and yet I still am).

Being ill, I immediately revert back to being a five year old. All I want is to be entertained, eat soup and drink ribeana. My flatmate works, I have no soup and only have the cheap blackcurrant stuff, which is fine when you’re well and dandy, but…. My mum says this shows a lack or planning and preparation. I say rude words.

So, in my five year old state, I managed to get up for long enough to put a hat on before crawling back into bed with juice. I then spent a pleasant morning writing drabbles, in bed, wearing a trilby. It kept me amused (and really that’s the best that you can hope for right now.)

Then I re-discovered some motor skills, got up and made lunch and coffee. (Shut up. Somewhere in the Universe coffee will be considered medicinal. I just need Jack or the Doctor to take me there and everything will be fine.)

I’m now back in bed, back at my lappy and back to feeling rubbish. What’s really annoying is that this will be the third time in 6 months I have missed work through illness, and it’s really not like me. I get colds and stuff, but before this last 6 months I could count on one hand the sick periods I had lost from illness like this (not counting depression or stupid injuries).

So I kindly ask my body to cease and desist with the dizzy shaky shit it keeps pulling so I can whinge about other crap instead please.
