“Shit. What the hell is that?” Becker asked, his gun useless, as they stood outside the anomaly.

“Some sort of brown ooze.” Connor mused.

“Thank you Connor, for that most technical of explanations.” Lester chided, starting to inch backwards, watching the mass swell, pulse and grow, getting closer and closer to where they stood.

“Can I suggest we move away before it gets us? Give us a chance to figure out how to beat it?” Danny chimed in, prompting movement from his colleagues.

Abby considered the mass before turning to run herself; “Gives a new meaning to death by chocolate.”
